Terms of Service
1.Acceptance
By creating an account or using AI Office, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2.What we provide
Filling the Gap operates AI Office: a Slack-based service that gives entrepreneurs access to a team of AI directors (CFO, Research, Product, Marketing, Design, CTO, plus a Chief of Staff). We provide the software, the AI personas, and the infrastructure. You bring your office's content and decisions.
3.Your account
- You must provide accurate information when signing up
- You're responsible for activity in your account
- You must be 18 years or older to use the service
- One account per business. If you have multiple companies, sign up each separately
4.Acceptable use
You may NOT use the service to:
- Engage in illegal activity
- Send spam, phishing, or malicious content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI directors or break security
- Scrape data or use automation outside normal use
- Impersonate someone else
- Harass or abuse our team or other users
- Resell the service or sublicense access without our written permission
5.Content ownership
Your content is yours. Everything generated inside your office — decisions, plans, models, market analyses, conversation history, artifacts — belongs to you. You can export, delete, or relocate it at any time.
We retain the right to use aggregate, anonymized data (e.g., "X% of customers use the CFO at least weekly") to improve the service.
6.Our intellectual property
The AI Office platform, the prompts and personas of the AI directors, our software, our brand, and our documentation are our intellectual property. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them while your account is active.
7.No warranty
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The AI directors give recommendations based on your inputs and public information; they are not financial, legal, medical, or other professional advisors. Use their output with judgment. We don't guarantee that any specific output is correct, complete, or fit for your situation.
8.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages — including lost profits, business interruption, or data loss — even if we were advised of the possibility.
9.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights.
10.Termination
You can stop using the service at any time by deleting your account or asking us to delete it. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice when reasonably possible.
On termination, your access ends, but you can request an export of your content within 30 days.
11.Changes to the terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the changes. If you don't agree, you can close your account.
12.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
